Stronger Together

Stronger Together was a three year programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund that ran from 2022-2025.

It was designed to increase community cohesion and resilience within LGBTQ+ communities across Wales.

Officers were based in North and South Wales and focused on supporting grassroot groups, individuals and community groups. The aim was to help establish new networks and support community cohesion and stability, especially following on from the impact of covid-19 when many groups had struggled to continue.

This short film captures the spirit and impact of Stronger Together. It features stories from across the country which shine a light on the diversity, resilience, and solidarity at the heart of our communities. Filmed and produced by Iris Prize Festival and premiered at their 2025 film festival.

Cafodd ei gynllunio i gynyddu cydlyniad cymunedol a gwytnwch o fewn cymunedau LHDTC+ ar draws Cymru.

Lleolwyd swyddogion yn Ogledd a De Cymru a chanolbwyntion nhw ar grwpiau grassroot, unigolion a grwpiau cymunedol. Roedd yr amcan yn i helpu sefydlu rhwydweithiau newydd a chefnogi cydlyniad a chadernid cymunedol, yn arbennig ar ôl yr effaith o COVID-19 pan yr oedd yn anodd i lawer o grwpiau i barhau.

Mae’r ffilm fer yma yn crisialu’r enaid a’r effaith o Stronger Together. Mae’n nodweddu storiâu o ar draws y wlad sydd yn goleuo’r amrywiaeth, gwytnwch, a’r cydlyniad yng Nghalon ein cymunedau. Cafodd ei ffilmio a’i chynnyrch gan yr Ŏwyl Iris Prize a’i rhyddhau at eu gŵyl ffilm 2025.
